Giving @ The Oaks
"Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure.
“For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”
And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others."
II Corinthians 9:6-8 (NLT)
Giving to God is an act of worship. We are privileged to give of our finances to The One who provides all things that we need in life. Giving demonstrates our gratitude and acknowledges that we realize all the resources we are blessed with come from our Creator. Furthermore, as we give we become more like our Heavenly Father – who is the ultimate Giver. The Father delights in His kids who give cheerfully to Him and His work. Amazingly, He also promises to bless those who step out in faith and give generously as an expression of their love for Him. May God bless you with an abundant harvest as your give to Him with a joyful heart! - Pastor Gary Barber
